“Here for a tournament at Waldbrunnen golf course. Perfect location just 10 mins from course. Clean tidy rooms with comfortable beds. Really nice restaurant and tasty food at good prices. Service with a smile. Great nights sleep but not been down yet for breakfast.”

“If you are like me and are looking for perfection when you eat out then I think I've found the ideal spot. When dining out I'm looking for, 1. excellence coming from the kitchen, 2. warmness and a good feeling from the ambience and 3. a welcoming friendly vibe back from my waiter who should be defending my desires rather than the establishment. I found the perfect combination in Wirthaus Himberg. I'm both critical and fussy because I believe that a restaurant should serve fresh food, cooked to perfection and well presented. I was left speechless tonight and could not find fault with anything. I don't know about the other dishes (apart from the Wiener schnitzel my wife ate which was also faultless) but the salmon was unbeatable, delicious, succulent and simply melted in my mouth with exquisite taste once I bit through the slightly browned tasty grilled outer part. It sat on a bed of well prepared spinach that was hot and moist but not soggy. The boiled potatoes were firm, tasty and yet soft enough to dissipate in my mouth asking with the delicious sauce the whole dish was sitting in. Inexplicably phenomenal. 5 stars to the chef and 5 stars to our delightful waitress who was attentive, kind, helpful and quick. Needless to say, we'll be back. Hasta next time! Danke schön!”
